Another year older

Over the weekend, I realized again just how blessed I am. Friday I met some friends at Applebee's for dinner. After dinner a handful of us went to a friend's house to play Wii. While there, I was surprised with a birthday cake and candles. A wonderful time of guitar hero followed and I believe it is safe to say we all enjoyed watching Nate launch one of the guitars while being a "rock star." Haha. Saturday we had dinner with Mike's family. It was great to see them and have a chance to get together. One table sitting near us in the restaurant had a birthday, so they had a cake and singing. I looked at Mike's family and said, "Don't get any ideas." Apparently I should have known better. :-) Not long after that there was singing and cake for me. Sunday we woke up extra early for church and Sunday School. (I will post about Sunday School a bit later) After church, Mike and I played Wii until Katie and Marla (step sisters) came over and played with us. We all had yummy "Mom's Meatloaf" and discussed the amazing-ness of loaves, lol. After even more cake and presents, it was time for my birthday weekend to officially be over. It was an amazing weekend filled with friends and family. I am truly lucky!

On a completely different side note--Sean and Lynsey are having a baby boy and I am so excited for them! I think they choose a name that is perfect and I wish them nothing but the best. :-)

I am still waiting to hear back from another friend about a completely different type of doctor's appointment. I am very scared and nervous for her. :-(
**Update--my friend's appointment was ok. I still need to get the details, but it seems like things are ok, for now. :-) YAY

I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed the cake! Hopefully you were able to take care of the massive amount that was left over! lol

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
