Today's journal prompt for my students is: "Imagine you are a teacher for a day. What would your day be like?"
I can't wait to read these entries! The second I read the prompt to the students they were moaning and groaning about how much it would stink to be a teacher. One little incident happened while we were working later that period, and a student called out, "Mrs. Stanley, its things like that that would make it hard for me to be a teacher. They frustrate me!" HAHAHA. I love my job.

Well, last night- I wasn't getting any respect from the kids in my class; so at the end of class- I pulled them all together and WAS MEAN! I asked them "Why am I here?" And, this bratting disrespectful girl answered "I don't know; you don't do anything". I wanted to smack her. Then her brother chimmed in "You're here to help us, to motivate us and teach us how to lose weight in a fun way". It was great!
